![]() ![]() The completion of this task always strengthens my classes ability to independently improve their own work via experimentation. Excellent task that enables students to quickly gain confidence with their own experimentation as they now have a frame of avenue to explore to improve stylistic content. Then critique the results by evaluating the success of this experimentation in Photoshop. In doing so they are asked to provide evidence, with a screen grab of the experimentation. This pack then includes guidance instructions to allow students to experiment with their final design in photoshop across the key principles of color, tone, image, typography, line and composition. Each student will roll/choose an individualized brief, so the class then has a range of outputs to discuss, explore and peer feedback upon, making for a better varied task with broader scope. I often use at the start or end of projects as an extension task to get students designing to a brief quickly, in a fun and creative way. ![]() This task can be used repeatedly to create a myriad of different briefs. ![]() Magazine front cover design challenge, gives students the parameters to roll/pick guidance for creating a front cover design which explores connections of genre, celebrity and target audience appeal.
