In comparison, the Paladin's Thorns aura reflects 450% at level % at level 20, and the Necromancer's Iron Maiden curse reflects 450% at level 11, and 675% at level 20. Level 20 of this skill reflects 430% damage. This skill is largely ignored since the damage reflected is woefully inadequate to make it viable past normal difficulty. Prerequisites: Oak Sage, Heart of Wolverine.ĭetails: This spirit bestows a Thorns aura on the Druid and all in his party. By the same token, this can be a detriment to Druids working with a Necromancer, particularly ones using Skeletons, Skeletal Mages, Corpse Explosion or Poison Explosion, or even the Druid's own Dire Wolves or Carrion Vine.Spirit of Barbs is a level 30 skill from the Druid's Summoning Skill Tree. Keeping dead bodies away from the enemy prevents them from being Revived, Exploded, or assimilated by enemy Carrion Vines/ Solar Creepers. The Creeper has a secondary effect that makes it valuable both for PvM and PvP combat: Corpse Denial. At Level 1, the vine returns a meager 4% of total mana per corpse. Boons can only be unlocked in the order shown above. At level 1, the Druid receives one wolf, with 143. Even better is that they teleport 'offensively', traversing gorges/rivers to attack the enemy on the other side. Spirit wolves can teleport, making twisting, winding passageways a non-issue. After finishing the questline, 4 Spirits with 4 Boons are available that need to be unlocked with Druidic Spirit Offerings. Spirit Wolves are very helpful, and make for valuable minions until you qualify for Summon Dire Wolf. The amount of mana given by the Creeper is a percentage of the Druid's total Mana. The Druids class specialization unlocks at level 15 with the 'Spirits of the Lost Grove' questline beginning in Túr Dúlra. If they are prone to using a great deal of the Elemental Skills, then the Creeper will help to take the sting out of their constantly-disappearing Mana pool. The usefulness of the Creeper is situational, based on the Druid build the player is using. It is also much tougher than the Carrion Vine, having 165 Health Points at Level 1. The Solar Creeper is in essence identical to the Carrion Vine, save for the fact that it recycles corpses for Mana instead of Life.
